Discoverpoint and DMA Complete a Dual-Sided M&A

April 2010 -- Discoverpoint reaches an agreement and places a strong stake in the African market by completing dual-sided Merger & Acquisition with DMA Capital Partners LTD. The result is both groups coming away with a separate entity called DMA-Point Holdings Ltd. (A Discoverpoint DMA Company). The purpose of the newly formed entity is to take advantage of the joint opportunities that the USA has to offer Africa and vice versa. The deal was sealed on March 19th, at 3pm EST, at 100 Park Avenue, New York, when the CEO's from both sides, Dennis Aliga and Kris Oribabor shook hands after discussing the terms of engagement.

Discoverpoint Invests in Financial Advisory Group

January 2010 -- Discoverpoint invests via its PE fund, Dpoint Fund I in its 3rd portfolio holdings. Dpoint Capital Partners LLC, a boutique Financial Advisory/Investment Bank is formed as a result of the investment by the Holding Group and the previous acquisition of Bond and Baker Investments. July 2009 -- Discoverpoint invests and takes controlling interest in D&T Global Enterprises Nigeria Limited, a Trade and Procurement Advisory firm with operations in Lagos, Nigeria. With this deal in place, Discoverpoint launches its Trade Finance Group with a goal of providing financing for international clients.

Discoverpoint Opens its Africa Offices

May 2009 -- Discoverpoint opens its Africa Headquarters in Lagos (Nigeria). This established our presence in Africa.
